Your First Visit: A Personalized Path to Health and Vitality
Your 60-minute New Patient appointment is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation for your care. During this visit, we’ll dive into your health history, perform a detailed chiropractic exam, and evaluate the impact of life stress on your overall well-being. Together, we’ll discuss your personal health and vitality goals, allowing us to create a customized care plan tailored to your needs.
As part of your New Patient Special Package, you’ll receive your first gentle adjustment and supportive therapy to jumpstart your journey toward optimal health.
Before Your Visit
Since we know your body is already under a lot of stress, Abundant Health Arizona does everything we can to alleviate that stress. Our new patient forms will be emailed to you after your appointment is booked, so you can complete them online at your convenience and submit them with no need for printing.
We suggest you wear comfortable clothing, as we’ll be conducting some orthopedic and range of motion exams.
Your First Visit
After welcoming you into our serene space, we’ll take you on a tour of the practice. Then you’ll have your consultation with Dr. Carla, who encourages you to take your time and express yourself honestly. Things that don’t seem connected to your current condition may be an important component, so Dr. Carla pays attention to all the details of your history.
Next, Dr. Carla will conduct a thorough physical examination, including neurological, orthopedic, and postural analysis, as well as reflex, flexibility, and strength tests. Muscle testing allows us to ascertain how your body reacts to daily stress.
In most cases, Dr. Carla will be able to provide your first adjustment at this visit. If there are any exam findings that need more investigation, your adjustment will be scheduled for your second visit.
Will I get adjusted on my first visit?
Usually, your first adjustment can be performed after your initial consultation and exam. In some cases, the doctor will need additional time or additional studies to determine the safest and most effective course of care for you. Your care plan is unique to you, and we are always working to provide the most effective care.
Your Second Visit
After your first visit, Dr. Carla will review your results and come up with an individualized care plan. When you return for your second visit, she’ll go over her report of findings and explain what she found and how she aims to correct it. Working together, you’ll decide on a course of care, which will include frequency of visits and the overall length of care. Then our office staff will discuss the financial options with you.
Paying for Care
Although we are not in-network with any insurance plans, we will work with you to create a care plan that works for your budget. We will design flexible payment plans for individuals as well as families. Making health a priority can be difficult when there are financial obstacles to care, but losing your health is more expensive in the long run. If you think you can’t afford to get better, contact our office—we will work with you to enable you to get the care you need.
